| Usage: | Polyisobutenyl succinic anhydride (PIBSA, GL 1940) which is an ash less, non fatty, high viscosity surfactant additive. It is derived from polybutene. GL 1940 finds application as an intermediate in the manufacture of oil soluble dispersants for lubricating oil applications and in the manufacturing of emulsifiers. It is recommended for use at 3 to 14% wt in base oils. | |
